I have had the great pleasure of boing a resident gogo dancer at Ground Zero Nightclub in Minneapolis since 2018. While I occasionally pop up at other events and on other nights at Ground Zero, the iconic Saturday Night Bondage-a-GoGo is my home, and you can catch me there most Saturdays.
I specialize in harder and darker music, but have experience in dancing to pretty much everything.
My style of dance is meant to complement the music and help set a fun, exciting atmosphere that encourages other folks to get out on the dance floor. I firmly believe that my function as a dancer is to help cultivate a party atmosphere, and to be something interesting to watch when one is resting their feet after dancing for a while.

Versatility is a skillset I’ve carefully cultivated over the years. I’ve trained in a wide variety of dance styles so that I can adapt to whatever the DJs throw at us. My main influences are industrial dance, bellydance, popping, heels, modern gogo dance, and pole. In addition, I’ve been haunting goth dancefloors for well over a decade now, and goth clubs definitely have their own style!

Dancer FAQS

I was already a regular at Zero, who would dance pretty much from open until close. I happened to see a post from a former dancer that they were looking for someone. I was lucky enough to audition, and I’ve been at Zero ever since! For other events, I similarly responded to calls for dancers, and would book gigs individually that way.

Every club and event is different. To my knowledge the Saturday team is not currently looking for dancers. When the dance manager is (which isn’t me!) they’ll be looking for someone who already demonstrating that they love the music and love to dance.
Experienced dancers might want to consider applying for Rapture MN, which is one of the rotating Friday night events.

I appreciate your interest, but I unfortunately will respectfully decline. While I used to work private events, due to safety concerns, I’ve shifted to only doing public and club events.

I appreciate your interest, but I don’t create custom (or adult) content. I have a lot of respect for my friends that do, but that’s a hard job and I’m just here to dance and have a good time! 🙂

I previously have been available for private dance lessons, but am currently on hiatus. However, I think the best way to learn how to dance is just to get moving! Don’t worry about looking silly, we all do. If you’re interested in a particular style, there are loads of great free YouTube videos available to get you started. My favorite way to teach myself a new style is to watch a video of a dancer I like, and slow the video down to half speed, and try to copy the movement myself. Once I can do that, I speed it up to 75% speed, and then full speed. It takes time, but just remember that the most important thing in dance is that *you* look like you’re having fun. No one is giving you a grade on the dancefloor (or if someone is, they’re miserable, and we shouldn’t care what they think!)
Some resources to get you started:
Industrial Dance (Cybergoth)
General Goth Club (okay, this is meant to be a joke video, but I honestly do these ALL THE TIME)
Bellydance I include this with the greatest hesitation, because bellydance is a whole family of cultural dances that should be studied with an experienced and knowledgeable instructor. However, it would be absolutely disingenuous of me to not acknowledge how much if affects my dance (and I also see echoes of it on goth dance floors everywhere!) My hope is that this series of videos would be a starting point for you that will lead you to learning more about this beautiful and complex dance form!
